Chris Ivens (Senior Pastor)
Pastor Chris joined OPC in October 2024 and brings a heart for authentic community, Christ-centered preaching, and discipleship. His passion for helping others grow in faith is at the center of his ministry. Originally from Minnesota, he has served in several pastoral roles before coming to Orcutt. Outside of ministry, Chris enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.

mike aguillon (Commissioned Lay pastor)
Mike is a longtime elder who graduated from the Lay Leader Training Institute in 2014. In October 2017, he was set apart for service as a Commissioned Lay Pastor at OPC to help provide pastoral care, preaching, oversight over Adult Education, and teaching. He also serves as a Stephen Minister, offering one-on-one care to those navigating life’s challenges. Mike was born and raised in Santa Maria and retired in 2010 after a career in Law Enforcement. A devoted Chicago Cubs fan, Mike enjoys golf and has a deep passion for serving the Lord.

garry grant (commissioned lay pastor)
Garry serves OPC in a variety of roles, including teaching midweek Bible classes and preaching on occasion. He is also actively involved in ministry beyond OPC, regularly preaching at the ECO church in Lompoc and serving as Pastor/Chaplain at Merrill Gardens. His depth of biblical knowledge and warm teaching style are a gift to our church family.

Cindy has faithfully served at OPC for nearly 20 years and is the heartbeat of our day-to-day ministry. As Ministry Administrator, she manages communications, schedules, facility use, and so much more. She’s often the first voice you’ll hear or the first face you’ll see when connecting with OPC. Her deep knowledge of the church and joyful spirit make her indispensable.

Lauren leads OPC's ministry to children with creativity, compassion, and a clear gospel focus. She coordinates Sunday morning programs for children, oversees volunteers, and curates engaging curriculum. Lauren brings a passion for making church a joyful and safe place for young families. Her heart for children and her commitment to their faith development shape the next generation of OPC.

Meredith has served OPC for over a decade in various musical roles. While her title and responsibilities have evolved, she continues to bless our congregation through music planning, accompaniment, and supporting worship leadership. Her history with OPC and heart for worship lend stability and continuity during seasons of change.

josh kerley (technical support COordinator)
Josh has served on staff since July 1, 2018, though his faithful service began even earlier during his high school years. He plays keyboard for both youth and Sunday worship services and manages OPC’s sound system and livestream technology. A graduate of Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Computer Science, Josh now works full-time as a software engineer while continuing to support worship at OPC. He’s passionate about creating an atmosphere of praise and equipping musicians to lead effectively.

Mike manages OPC’s business operations and oversees facilities. He provides support with financial systems, office infrastructure, and ensures the church runs smoothly behind the scenes. His work is essential to the daily function of the church community. If you need something done around the grounds, Mike is your man.

Julie helps couples prepare for one of life’s most sacred milestones. As Wedding Coordinator, she guides families through the planning process to ensure wedding ceremonies at OPC are meaningful, smooth, and Christ-centered. Her calm presence and attention to detail bless both members and guests alike.
